This introductory lesson will give you knowledge of the principles of archery and cover safety regulations* for the sport and range. Whether you’re an aspiring Olympic hopeful, want to be the next World Champion, or are just looking for a new family activity, orientation is your place to get started!
Our orientations offer instruction from an USA Archery NTS certified coach or instructor. All orientations allow only 10 students per class to promote a small group setting where individuals can focus on learning new skills.
The price for orientation is $30 per student. The class is approximately 60 minutes to account for all safety regulations and range rules, as well as some time to shoot. The recommended age for new shooters is 8+ years of age. Exceptions can be made for younger archers at the discretion of our archery coaches, but they must own their own equipment that is properly sized and weighted. Please meet with one of our coaches prior to your class date for age and equipment approvals. Approvals for exceptions will not be made same day. We appreciate your understanding.
Orientation is a one-time lesson and is mandatory before participation in any of 10 Ring Archery Club's classes or programs. Beginning level equipment is provided for students who do not own their own (for students 8+) for no additional cost. Check our events calendar for class dates and times, or head to our Bookings page to schedule your first lesson today! Walk-ins are welcome when space is available. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for full refund.
*All archers or parents/guardians need to read and sign the code of conduct, waiver, and photo release prior to attending class.
Archers who do not meet the dress code will not be allowed to participate in class.
