Junior olympic Archery
The Junior Olympic Archery Development Program is a nationwide program designed by USA Archery that provides youth shooters at least 8 years of age with ongoing archery classes that help them to progress from beginner to advanced level archery, at their own pace. Archery is a sport where your child will develop strong problem solving skills, increase their concentration, build confidence and self esteem, and create friendships that will last a lifetime. JOAD is the perfect place to get them started!
10 Ring Archery Club offers classes once a week for members of our JOAD program*. We offer both recurve and compound training via the U.S. National Training Sysytem (NTS), and provide rental equipment if needed.
Our JOAD program is led by certified instructors and coaches. Whether your child's interest is purely recreational or an Olympic, Paralympic or World Championship dream, 10 Ring Archery Club's JOAD program is designed to help young archers achieve their ultimate archery goals.
*Our JOAD Club members have an annual fee to cover the cost of their achievement pins, lanyards, targets, and class extras for learning and game nights. JOAD members must also hold a membership through USA Archery in order to participate in the National programs. JOAD class nights have a participation fee of $10 or $15 dollars if the archer needs to rent equipment. USA Archery scoring matrix for Indoor and Outdoor listed below. All annual membership fees are non-refundable.
